How a row prices. Price per unit = material × (1 + tax, when that
row's material is taxable) + labor, then that row's own markup on top.
Line total = quantity × price per unit. Nothing is spread from a labor
pool and nothing is backsolved from a headline. Markup on cost is gross
profit divided by direct cost; gross margin is gross profit divided by the
selling price.
Copper. Mitch removed the copper strip entirely on 2026-09-21. It is not a line item, not an optional add-on, and not in the economics. The 2026-08 snapshot that contained it is archived unchanged in the release evidence.
Saved cells. Every quantity, material rate, labor rate and markup below was carried over from Mitch's saved 2026-08 line sheet by stable row identity, not by position.
